What we keep, and who sees it

This page covers two things: the app our crew uses on the job, and this website. It says what is stored, who sees it, for how long, and who to write to.

The crew app

Above All Crew is the work app our crew members and managers use to clock in and out and to send photos of receipts. Only people the company enrolls have an account.

What it stores: Your profile: name, employee code, phone number if you gave one, language, and your role (crew member, manager or owner). Your PIN is not stored as typed but transformed so that nobody can read it, the company included.
Your clock-ins: the time you clock in and out, and at which job. If the owner corrects a time, the record keeps who changed it, when and why.
Your receipts: the photos, the job and, if you type them, the vendor, the amount and a note. The app turns them into a PDF and emails it to the company.
Your location during a shift, if the company has it switched on. Explained just below.
Location: The company decides whether location is on. While it is off, the app neither asks for it nor stores it.
Only while you have an open shift. It stops when you clock out. Outside a shift nothing is stored about where you are — not at night, not at the weekend, not on your days off.
About every 10 minutes. The phone decides when it hands a position over, so sometimes it takes longer; with no signal, or with the phone off, nothing is recorded.
What is stored is the point on the map, how accurate it is, and the time. Not your speed, not the street address, not your full route.
You can say no. Without location permission you can still clock in and send receipts, and you can remove the permission any time in your phone's settings.
Who sees it: You see your own records.
The owner of the company sees everything.
A job's manager sees, without being able to change anything, the clock-ins, hours and receipts of the people on the jobs they are assigned to.
Your location is seen only by the owner and by you. A manager never sees anyone's location.
How long: Location: 30 days. After that it deletes itself.
Clock-ins, hours and receipts have no automatic deletion date: they are kept as the company's record of hours and expenses.
Who it is shared with: We do not sell your data or give it to anyone for advertising. The app carries no ads and no analytics tools.
To work, the app uses three services: Vercel (the server), Supabase (the database and the photos) and Resend (the email with the receipts). We use them for that and nothing else.
A copy, or deletion: To ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, email or call us. The details are at the end of this page.

This website

The estimate form: If you ask us for an estimate, what you type (name, phone, email if you give one, town, project type and message) reaches us by email, with the page's language and the time. If you used the calculator, your answers and the range it showed you come too. We use it to get back to you. The website does not keep it in any database; the email goes out through Resend.
Your IP address: The website holds it for a few minutes, in memory, to slow down repeated form submissions, and does not store it. Like any server, Vercel's, where the website is hosted, processes technical data from each visit, such as the IP address, in order to serve the page.
Cookies: Just one, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers whether you read the site in English or in Spanish. No advertising or analytics cookies.
